Brookside Lions Club

 

 

                         Helps the following Charities and

 Community Involvement Projects

 

Local:

·        Glasses for kids – provide glasses for elementary school children in our area who’s parents can not afford the expense.

·        Flag Day – make presentation each year to the area elementary first graders on the American Flag and the Pledge of Allegiance. 

·        Monetary support to the Little Lighthouse, a school for special needs children.

·        Monetary support to Happy Hands Early Childhood Development Center.

·        Indian Nations Council of the Boy Scouts of America – sustaining member.

·        Keystone Boy Scout Camp – a camp built by our club on the banks of Keystone Lake providing scouts a safe location to enjoy the outdoor part of Boy Scouting.

·        Magic Empire Council of the Girl Scouts of America – donor 

State:

·        Oklahoma Lions Boys Ranch – providing a family environment with meaningful life experiences for boy  who have been abused or neglected.   http://www.oklionsfoundation.org/boysranch.html  

·        Oklahoma Lions Mobile (Health) Screening Unit – a mobile travel trailer providing free screenings for hearing, vision, glaucoma, blood pressure and blood sugar.

 

International:

·        Lions Club International Foundation – yearly support to the foundation created by our national organization who’s mission is to provides humanitarian needs to communities around the world in times of need and disaster.
