                         Helps the following Charities and

 Community Involvement Projects

 

Local:

·       Glasses for kids – provide glasses for elementary school children in our area who’s parents can not afford the expense.

·       Pancake Breakfast for the Homeless – help downtown homeless relief organizations (Day Center for the Homeless, John 3:16 and Iron Gate) by cooking breakfast one Saturday in April each year. 

·       Monetary support to the Little Lighthouse, a school for special needs children. http://www.littlelighthouse.org/

·       Monetary support to Happy Hands Early Childhood Development Center  http://www.happyhands.org/

·       Keystone Boy Scout Camp – a camp built by our club on the banks of Keystone Lake providing scouts a safe location to enjoy the outdoor part of Boy Scouting.   http://www.okscouts.org/

·       Donated and maintain the Lion Fountain at the Tulsa Zoo,  2008 Lion , 1966 Lion

State:

·       Oklahoma Lions Eye Bank -  providing corneas to physicians across the state for  transplants since 1957.  http://www.oklionsfoundation.org/eyebank.html

·       Oklahoma Lions Boys Ranch – providing a family environment with meaningful life experiences for boy  who have been abused or neglected.   http://www.oklionsfoundation.org/boysranch.html  

·       Oklahoma Lions Mobile (Health) Screening Unit – a mobile travel trailer providing free screenings for hearing, vision, glaucoma, blood pressure and blood sugar.

International:

·       Lions Club International Foundation – yearly support to the foundation created by our national organization who’s mission is to provide humanitarian needs to communities around the world in times of need and disaster.
